Hello! My name is Collin Jarvis, and in March of 2014, I became an Ostomate due to a severe case of Ulcerative Colitis. Since then, I have backpacked across New Zealand and Italy, run [unofficial] Ostomy Bag World Records in the mile, 3k steeplechase, and 5k, and completed my degree from UC Berkeley!

I’ve started this website and blog as a way to give back to those who are suffering from Crohn’s and Colitis, and for anyone who has had an Ileostomy and lives with the bag. I know how difficult it is to stay positive through such life altering experiences, so it is my hope that these stories about my past and present will help inspire and motivate everyone who visits to lead a healthier and more active lifestyle, despite any challenge they may face along the way!
